1) It is MANDATORY that you follow the instructions BELOW ONLY for the FIRST day of your arrival.
The information below will place you within a few doors directly across the street from my home.
2) AFTER arriving and dropping off your baggage, feel free to follow the instructions located on 'Nonya to City Center Downtown' page.
If you do not use instructions below, and you are 'escorted' by the police to find my home, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN.
If you wish to ARRIVE BEFORE 2 p.m., please contact me for further instructions 24 hours before your arrival so as to receive gate access to the property! Do not contact me the day of arrival. I will be sleep until 2 p.m.
ARRIVALS AFTER 10 p.m., please use a TAXI (see above)!
Note: The '44 Bus' stops running on Saturday and Sunday at 6.45p.m. from the Halsted Orange Line
From MIDWAY AIRPORT
- Take the BLUE line train to the city center

Exit at 'Clark/Lake'

Proceed up a series of escalators to catch the ORANGE line train

Once you are on the outside train platform, proceed to the staircase that crosses over to the other side

Take the ORANGE line train in the direction of 'Midway'

Exit the train at the 'Halsted' orange line stop

Transfer to the '44 Racine' bus (located to the right from the train stations' exit door.)

Inform the bus driver you would like to exit at 6500 S. Racine (65th & Racine...going south)

The bus will stop right across the street from my house, just passing my home by a few doors. Please check your email confirmation for exact address.

Recommended CTA App for your phone
When purchasing a CTA pass, ask for a CTA PASS. DO NOT ask for a 'metra pass'. The cashier will assume you are interested in the electric trains to the suburbs.
- Take either of the following bus #1, 7, x28 or 151 bus on Canal Street (located in front of Union Station....across the street of exit door).
- Take the bus to 'Wabash' Street. On 'Wabash Street, walk one block north to take the ORANGE line (elevated) train entrance. The orange line train IS NOT the subway. So proceed UP the staircase to the elevated train.
- Take the ORANGE line train in the direction of 'Midway'
- Exit the train at the 'Halsted' orange line stop
- Transfer to the '44 Racine' bus (located at the exit door of the train stop.
- Inform the bus driver you would like to exit at 6500 S. Racine (65th & Racine....going south)

- Take the '63rd' bus (toward Stoney Island)
- Exit the bus at 63rd & 'Racine' street
- Walk (south) toward the Citgo gas station and under the elevated train, about a block and a 1/2 to my home address. Please check your email confirmation for EXACT address.
